Rajasthan Local Self Government Recruitment 2026 for 24,750+ Safai Karmachari Posts

The Department of Local Self Government, Rajasthan has released the Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Recruitment 2026 notification for the recruitment of 24,752 Contract Safai Karmachari (Sanitation Worker) posts across 183 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state. This is one of the largest recruitment drives under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022. Candidates with at least one year of sanitation work experience in a Rajasthan Urban Local Body are eligible to apply. The online application process will begin on 15 August 2026 and remain open until 28 September 2026. Selection will be carried out through an online lottery system based on the prescribed priority criteria.

Salary

• Monthly Honorarium: ₹7,410 per month.
• Appointment will be on a contractual basis under the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2027.
• Age relaxation:
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (Male): 5 Years
  • General Women: 5 Years
  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS Women: 10 Years
  • Widows/Divorced Women: No upper age limit
  • Ex-Servicemen: 10 Years
  • PwBD: Additional 5 Years

• Visit the official Local Self Government Department or Rajasthan SSO portal.
• Complete One Time Registration (OTR) by paying the prescribed application fee.
• Log in through the SSO portal.
• Fill in the online application form carefully.
• Upload the required documents, live photograph and Jan Aadhaar details.
• Select only one Urban Local Body (ULB), as multiple applications will be rejected.
• Review the application before final submission.
• Submit the application and save/print the Application ID for future reference.
