Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced recruitment for 36 Senior Assistant Engineer posts in E-I Grade for its NCS & RADAR SBU/Ghaziabad Complex. All 36 vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen from the Indian Air Force, with eligible candidates required to submit applications through offline mode.

BEL Senior Assistant Engineer Vacancy Details

BEL has notified 36 vacancies, all reserved for Ex-Servicemen of the Indian Air Force. One post is horizontally reserved for PwBD candidates.

Qualification and IAF Service Requirements

Candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, or a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Pass Class in the prescribed qualification is acceptable.

The recruitment is restricted to Indian Air Force Ex-Servicemen. Applicants must have held the rank of Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) or above and completed at least 15 years of service in the IAF after acquiring the essential educational qualification.

Candidates must have retired from the Indian Air Force on or before August 1, 2026.

Applicants will also need appropriate service records, including the IAF Discharge Book/Certificate showing details such as medical category, date of discharge and an Exemplary/Very Good or equivalent service record.

BEL Senior Assistant Engineer Age Limit

Age will be determined as on August 1, 2026.

PwBD candidates will receive applicable age relaxation according to Government of India rules.

Salary and Benefits

The Senior Assistant Engineer position is in E-I Grade with a pay scale of ₹30,000–3%–₹1,20,000.

In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be eligible for applicable Dearness Allowance, HRA, perquisites at 35% of annual basic pay, medical reimbursement, Group Insurance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Performance Related Pay and other benefits according to BEL rules.

Tenure and Place of Posting

The engagement is for a tenure of 15 years, renewable every five years based on individual performance and project requirements, or until the employee reaches the superannuation age of 60 years, whichever occurs earlier.

Selected Senior Assistant Engineers may be posted at project locations across India depending on the requirements of BEL’s NCS & RADAR SBU/Ghaziabad Complex.

BEL SAE Selection Process

The recruitment process will begin with a written test. Candidates qualifying in the test will be shortlisted category-wise for interview in a ratio of 1:7.
