NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2026 Notice Out: Apply for 16 IT and Cyber Security Posts by October 26

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has invited online applications for 16 contractual specialist positions in cyber security, information security, IT infrastructure and technology auditing. Registration under Advertisement No. 04 began on October 9, 2026, and will close on October 26, 2026.

The recruitment covers eight roles, including SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester and Lead Auditor. Candidates must meet the prescribed educational, certification and experience requirements as on October 1, 2026. All positions are based at NABARD’s Head Office in Mumbai.

Selected specialists will receive an initial two-year contract, extendable by up to three additional years. The engagement includes performance-linked annual increments and specified benefits, but does not carry entitlement to permanent employment or superannuation benefits.

Advertisement No. 04 covers appointments in the Chief Information Security Office and the Department of Supervision’s CSITE function. Shortlisting will consider academic qualifications, mandatory professional certifications, relevant experience and overall suitability.

Vacancies, Age Limits and Annual Remuneration

There are 15 unreserved vacancies and one OBC vacancy. The OBC allocation is for one of the two Lead Auditor positions.

Educational Qualification and Professional Requirements

SOC Analyst

Applicants require a relevant B.E./B.Tech., MCA or postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks. Accepted engineering fields include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics and Communication, Information Science, Electrical and Cyber Security.

CompTIA Security+, CEH or an equivalent cyber security certification is mandatory. Candidates need at least three years of post-qualification experience in IT or cyber security.

Information Security Analyst

Candidates require a relevant B.E./B.Tech., MCA or postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks, together with CISA, CISM, CISSP or an equivalent Information Security, IT Risk or Compliance certification.

The experience requirement is expressed as two–four years of relevant post-qualification work. Applicants should confirm the precise minimum applicable to the role before submitting their application.

Network Security Analyst

A relevant B.E./B.Tech., MCA or postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks is required. Candidates must hold CCNP Security or an equivalent network or infrastructure security certification.

Applicants need at least five years of total IT experience, including three years of post-qualification experience in network security.

Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester

Applicants require a relevant B.E./B.Tech., MCA or postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks, along with CEH, OSCP, ECSA or an equivalent penetration testing or offensive security certification.

Relevant post-qualification experience in VAPT or ethical hacking is specified as two–four years. Candidates should verify the exact minimum requirement.

Lead Auditor and Other CSITE Positions

For these four roles, candidates require B.E./B.Tech. in CSE, ECE or IT, or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline combined with a master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or ECE.

Contract Benefits and Conditions

The initial contract runs for two years from appointment and may be extended for up to three further years.

Contract specialists will not be entitled to Provident Fund, pension or gratuity. They will have no right or claim to regular employment.

Application Fee Structure

The fee and intimation charges are non-refundable and exclude applicable GST.

Bank transaction charges must also be borne by the applicant.

Selection Process

NABARD will shortlist candidates at a ratio of three applicants per vacancy. Shortlisted candidates will attend a personal interview at Head Office, Mumbai, followed by a pre-recruitment medical examination for those provisionally selected.

No written examination will be conducted. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Applicants serving in Government, Quasi-Government organizations, PSUs, nationalised banks or financial institutions must produce a valid employer-issued NOC at the interview.
