CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026 – Walk-in Interview for 10 Research Project Posts | Walks-ins: 12th February 2026
CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (CSIR-NPL), New Delhi, a premier constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), has released the official CSIR NPL Recruitment 2026 notification for engagement of research personnel under various externally funded and time-bound sponsored research projects. This recruitment is purely temporary and contractual in nature and offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with qualifications such as M.Tech, M.Sc, Ph.D, B.Tech, ITI, and related backgrounds to work on advanced research areas including Deep-Sea Exploration, Solar Photovoltaics, Quantum Metrology, Artificial Intelligence, Microfluidics, and Advanced Materials. The selection will be carried out through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on 12 February 2026 at CSIR-NPL, New Delhi.

Salary
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration as per CSIR project norms. The stipend ranges from ₹18,000/- per month for Project Assistant-I to ₹42,000/- per month plus HRA for Senior Research Fellow and Senior Project Associate posts. Research Interns will receive a stipend of ₹24,000/- per month. The exact pay will depend on the post, qualification, and eligibility under CSIR guidelines.
Age Limit
The upper age limit varies by post and ranges between 25 years and 40 years. Age will be calculated as on 12 February 2026. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Women candidates will be applicable as per Government of India and CSIR rules.

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted through Walk-in Interview only. In case a large number of candidates appear, a screening committee may shortlist candidates based on academic qualifications and relevant experience.
