BHU Teacher Exam Date 2026 Announced for TGT, PGT, PRT and Principal Posts

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced the examination schedule for its School Teacher recruitment covering TGT, PGT, PRT and Principal posts under Advertisement No. 24/2023-2024. The recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 47 teaching and Principal vacancies.

The accepted professional qualifications include a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or the applicable Diploma in Special Education. Candidates were also required to have qualified CTET as prescribed for the post.

BHU TGT Eligibility Criteria

For Trained Graduate Teacher posts, candidates were required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with the prescribed marks. According to the recruitment details, candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in the relevant academic requirements.

Applicants were also required to possess a B.Ed. qualification and qualify CTET as prescribed for the TGT posts.
