Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited (K-RIDE) has invited online applications for 35 contractual positions supporting the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project. The recruitment covers Civil Engineering, Signalling and Telecommunication, Electrical, Rolling Stock, Finance, HR and Administration, with applications due by November 5, 2026.

Civil positions account for 19 vacancies across senior management and managerial levels. Candidates must possess the qualifications and professional experience prescribed for their chosen post and grade. The maximum age is 55 years as on November 1, 2026.

Appointments will initially be for three years, extendable up to five years based on performance. The advertised positions carry consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹53,250 for Assistant Manager to ₹1,75,000 for Joint General Manager.

Educational Qualification and Experience

Civil Engineering

Candidates must possess the prescribed bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and relevant post-qualification experience in Metro, Railways, PSUs or major infrastructure projects. Experience requirements vary by grade, ranging from five to 15 years.

Signalling and Telecommunication

A degree or diploma in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Telecommunication Engineering is required, together with relevant railway or Metro signalling experience.

Electrical and Rolling Stock

Applicants must hold the relevant degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Experience requirements relate to areas such as overhead equipment, power systems, rolling stock design, testing and commissioning.

Finance

Eligible qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA, CMA or equivalent, depending on the position. Candidates must possess the prescribed experience in financial management, accounts, taxation, GST or related functions.

Human Resources

The HR position requires an MBA, postgraduate diploma in HR or MSW, with relevant experience in personnel management and industrial relations.

Deputy Manager to Managing Director

Candidates must possess a master’s degree or postgraduate diploma, preferably in Administration, Management, Commerce or Finance, and relevant administrative experience.

Monthly Remuneration

The remuneration schedule also lists ₹2,00,000 for Additional General Manager, but no vacancy at that level appears in the post-wise list above.

Selection and Service Record Requirements

K-RIDE will screen applications and shortlist eligible candidates for interview. Qualifications, experience, service records and supporting documents will be verified.

Preference will be given to employees working at K-RIDE and candidates with relevant Metro, Railways, PSU or major infrastructure experience.

Candidates from outside K-RIDE must submit APARs for the preceding three years, with an overall “Very Good” grade in at least two of those years. Applicants must have a satisfactory service record.
