National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune has released the NIA Pune Recruitment 2026 notification for 03 Faculty vacancies. The institute is inviting applications for Assistant Professor (IT), Professor of Practice (IT), and Professor of Practice (Marketing & Sales) positions. Candidates possessing qualifications such as Ph.D., M.Tech., M.E., M.S., MBA, or equivalent with relevant teaching, research, or industry experience are eligible to apply. These positions include both regular and contractual appointments at the National Insurance Academy, Pune, Maharashtra. Eligibility Criteria

• Assistant Professor (Information Technology)
  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline is mandatory
  • First class or equivalent academic record throughout
  • Fresh Ph.D. candidates with exceptional records may apply
  • OR minimum 2 years post-Ph.D. teaching/industry experience
  • Minimum 2 publications in ABDC/Scopus indexed journals after Ph.D.
  • Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Professor of Practice (IT)
  • M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. (Computer Science) or equivalent
  • More than 10 years of experience in senior management positions in IT
  • Maximum Age: 62 Years
  • One-year contract, extendable based on performance
• Professor of Practice (Marketing & Sales)
  • MBA (Marketing) / PGDM (Insurance, Risk & Management) or equivalent
  • More than 10 years of experience in senior management positions
  • Insurance marketing experience desirable
  • Maximum Age: 62 Years
  • One-year contract, extendable based on performance

Salary

Age Limit

• Assistant Professor (IT): Not more than 45 years
• Professor of Practice (IT): Not more than 62 years
• Professor of Practice (Marketing & Sales): Not more than 62 years
• Age relaxation may be considered for deserving candidates
