The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI), Government of India has released the MHI Recruitment 2026 notification for the engagement of 2 Consultants on a contractual basis. The recruitment includes one Consultant (Young Professional) and one Consultant (Retired Central Government Officer) post. Candidates possessing CA, ICWA, MBA Finance or Postgraduate qualifications in Commerce, as well as eligible retired Central Government Accounts Officers, can apply depending on the post. Interested candidates must submit their applications through email on or before 14 August 2026. Selection will be based on screening followed by a personal interview.

Consultant (Young Professional): ₹70,000 per month.
Consultant (Retired Central Government Officer): Remuneration as per Department of Expenditure O.M. dated 09.12.2020 (last pay drawn minus basic pension).
Age Limit
Consultant (Young Professional): Not above 32 years as on 30 September 2026.
Consultant (Retired Central Government Officer): Not above 62 years as on 30 September 2026.
