Maharashtra DMER Recruitment 2026 For 1540+ Tutors & Junior Residents Posts
Commissioner, Medical Education, Research & Ayush, Maharashtra (DMER) has released the Maharashtra DMER Recruitment 2026 notification for 1540 Tutor and Junior Resident posts on contractual basis for a period of one year. The recruitment is for Government Medical Colleges across Maharashtra and is open to eligible MBBS degree holders with valid registration under MMC/NMC. The selection will be based on merit list preparation followed by online preference filling, allotment and document verification. The online application process begins on 16 February 2026 and will close on 23 February 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive fixed monthly remuneration as follows:
- Tutor: ₹80,000 per month
- Junior Resident: ₹79,173 per month
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 70 years as on 16 February 2026.
- Relaxation will be applicable as per Government norms.
Application Fee
- Unreserved Category candidates must pay ₹1000.
- Reserved Category candidates must pay ₹900.
- The fee is to be paid online and is non-refundable.
Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Merit List Preparation based on MBBS marks percentage (First MBBS, Second MBBS, Third MBBS Part I & II).
- Merit List Declaration on 24 February 2026.
- Online Preference Filling from 25 to 27 February 2026.
- Online Allotment Declaration on 04 March 2026 (Evening).
- Document Verification and Medical Examination.
Tie-breaker criteria include higher MBBS marks, older candidate preference, specialization qualification (MD/MS/DNB preferred over MBBS), and further prescribed tie rules.

- After merit list declaration, log in again for online preference filling and check allotment status.
