CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR-IICB), Kolkata, under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has announced recruitment for approximately 65 temporary Project Manpower positions under Advertisement No. R&C/588/2026. The vacancies include Project Associate, Senior Project Associate, Project Scientist, Project Technical Support, and Principal Project Associate posts in various Chemistry and Life Sciences disciplines. Candidates with qualifications such as B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Pharm, M.Tech, Ph.D, or equivalent degrees along with relevant experience and NET/GATE qualifications can participate in the walk-in interview process. Eligibility Criteria

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level-1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month along with admissible allowances as per CSIR rules.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for applicants is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

IICB Recruitment 2025 for Junior Secretariat Assistants, Junior Stenographers and Other Posts [CLOSED]

The CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR-IICB), Kolkata, a leading research institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has released a recruitment notification for Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase) and Junior Stenographer posts. As per Advertisement No. R&C/605/2025, the institute invites applications from eligible Indian citizens with 12th pass qualifications. The online application process is open from 28th July to 22nd August 2025 via the official CSIR-IICB website.
