Eligibility Criteria
Essential Requirements
Candidates must be working in Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Bodies under Central/State Government
Must meet the experience and service condition requirements outlined in the official vacancy circular dated 24 December 2025
The appointment is on deputation basis only
Desirable Qualifications (as per standard norms for JTO posts)
Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English/Hindi as a subject at degree level
Or a Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects
Two years of experience in translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa in a government office is usually required (refer circular for exact details)
Salary
Pay Level-6 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Pre-revised PB-2: ₹9300–34800 + Grade Pay ₹4200)
Age Limit
As per deputation norms for government servants (generally not exceeding 56 years on the closing date of application)
