The Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released the DRDO SSPL Recruitment 2026 notification for 23 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) fellowships. Candidates with M.Sc., B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, or Ph.D. qualifications in relevant disciplines can attend the walk-in interview. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in defence research in Physics and Electronics. Eligible candidates can appear for the walk-in interviews scheduled from 01 September to 09 September 2026 as per the discipline-wise schedule. Original documents must be produced for verification during the interview.
Electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the SSPL premises.

How to Apply
Download the prescribed application form (Appendix ‘A’) from the official notification.
Fill in the application form completely and affix a recent passport-size photograph.
Attach attested copies of educational certificates, NET/GATE scorecard, experience certificates, publications, caste certificate (if applicable), and other required documents.
Bring all original certificates for verification.
Candidates working in Government, PSU, or Autonomous Bodies should carry a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Report to the interview venue at 09:30 AM on the scheduled date according to your discipline.
Attend the screening test, if conducted, followed by the interview.
