SFAC Recruitment 2026 Announced for Manager Finance and Assistant Grade I Vacancies, Apply by November 17

Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC) has invited applications for two deputation vacancies at its New Delhi office. The SFAC Recruitment 2026 covers one Manager (Finance) post and one Assistant Grade I post, with applications required to reach the organization through proper channel by November 17, 2026.

SFAC is an autonomous society under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. The current recruitment is intended for eligible officers meeting the prescribed regular service and experience conditions rather than candidates seeking entry-level direct recruitment.

The Manager (Finance) position carries Pay Level 9 of ₹53,100–₹1,67,800, while Assistant Grade I carries Pay Level 6 of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400. The deputation period is three years, and the maximum age for both posts is 56 years as on the closing date.

SFAC Recruitment 2026 Notification

The SFAC vacancy notice was issued on September 19, 2026 for filling two positions on deputation basis. Eligible officers must submit the prescribed bio-data through their respective parent department or organization along with service records and the required vigilance, integrity and cadre clearances.

SFAC Vacancy and Pay Scale

The two vacancies have different service and experience requirements.

The recruitment notice also references the corresponding Grade Pay of ₹5,400 for Manager (Finance) and ₹4,200 for Assistant Grade I.

Manager Finance Eligibility

For the Manager (Finance) post, officers should be holding an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department.

Alternatively, officers with five years of regular service in Pay Level 7/8, including combined qualifying service in Level 7 and Level 8, can be considered subject to the prescribed conditions.

Applicants must have at least three years of experience in Finance, Budgeting and Accounts.

The Manager (Finance) position carries Pay Level 9 of ₹53,100–₹1,67,800.

Assistant Grade I Eligibility

For Assistant Grade I, applicants should either hold an analogous post on a regular basis or have five years of regular service in Pay Level 4 of ₹25,500–₹81,100 or equivalent.

Candidates also need at least five years of experience covering the prescribed areas of office administration, agribusiness project data work and computer applications.

The selected officer will be placed at Pay Level 6 of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400.

Age Limit and Deputation Period

The maximum age for appointment on deputation is 56 years for both posts.

The age will be determined as on November 17, 2026, the closing date for receipt of applications.

The deputation tenure is three years, subject to the applicable terms and conditions governing the appointment.

Selection Process

SFAC will fill the positions through the deputation process rather than through a conventional written examination.

Applications and service records will be scrutinized to determine whether officers meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. The selection process will take into account the required departmental records, including:

• Vigilance Clearance
• Integrity Certificate
• Cadre Clearance
• APARs for the prescribed period
• Details of major or minor penalties, if any

Candidates must apply through their competent authority in the parent organization.

Documents Required

The application should be submitted in the prescribed Annexure-I bio-data format in duplicate along with the required service documentation.

Applicants are required to provide attested copies of APARs for 2019-20 to 2023-24, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate and Cadre Clearance.

A statement showing major or minor penalties imposed during the preceding 10 years must also accompany the application.

The APAR copies are required to be attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India.

Application Fee

No application fee has been prescribed for either the Manager (Finance) or Assistant Grade I post.
