Educational Qualification
The minimum educational qualification differs according to the pay level for which a candidate applies.

Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed sports achievement criteria. Eligible achievements must be from championships held between April 1, 2024 and the date of notification.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on January 1, 2027.
Candidates born between January 1, 2002 and January 1, 2009 fall within the specified date-of-birth range for the recruitment.
Selection Through Sports Trial and Assessment
All candidates found eligible will be called for a sports trial. During the trial, candidates will be evaluated for game skill, physical fitness and coaches’ observations. A candidate must obtain at least 25 out of 40 marks in the trial to be declared FIT and considered for further assessment.
The overall assessment carries 100 marks:

Final selection will be based on merit. If candidates secure equal marks, the younger candidate will be given preference.
Application Fee
The application fee varies according to candidate category. A prescribed portion of the fee is refundable to candidates who are found eligible and actually appear in the trial, subject to applicable bank charges.
