Salary

The approximate monthly salary for all Grade A and Grade B posts under RBI Non-CSG Recruitment 2026 ranges between ₹1,26,540 and ₹1,59,350 depending on the grade and applicable allowances.   1. RBI Grade B Exam

RBI Grade B is one of the most sought government exams in India. Exam Pattern

The RBI Grade B exam is divided into three tiers – Phase I, Phase II, and Personal Interview. Phase I exam of the RBI Grade B exam consists of objective questions, whereas the Phase II of the exam includes both objectives as well as descriptive questions. Moreover, in Phase I, candidates have to appear for only one paper, whereas for Phase II, candidates are required to appear for three different papers.

Phase I – Phase I of the RBI Grade B exam consists of four different sections. These include logical reasoning, general awareness, English language, and quantitative aptitude. There are 200 questions in a total of one mark each. Thus, making it a 200 marks paper. Being said that, you get a total of 2 hours for solving the paper.

Phase II – Phase II of the RBI Grade B exam consists of three different papers. Paper I (Economic and Social Issues) consists of 50% objective and 50% descriptive type questions. You get a total of 2 hours to solve the 100 marks paper. Paper-II (English Writing Skills) is a completely descriptive type paper, wherein you get a total of 90 minutes to solve the 100 mark paper. Paper III (Finance and Management) is again a 50% objective and 50% descriptive type paper. You get a total of 2 hours to solve the 100 marks paper.

Based on the aggregate score received in Phase I and Phase II papers, candidates are asked to appear for the Personal Interview round. Being said that, the PI round consists of 75 marks, after which the RBI takes the recruitment decision.
