Power Foundation of India (PFI), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is accepting online applications for four Executive Trainee (Electrical) positions through GATE 2025. The application window opened on October 13, 2026, and will close on November 3, 2026.

The recruitment is open to candidates holding a full-time bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Applicants must also meet the prescribed GATE 2025 requirement in Electrical Engineering and be no older than 27 years as on October 1, 2026.

Shortlisting will be based on GATE performance, followed by a personal interview. The regular, full-time positions carry proposed remuneration of approximately ₹11 lakh per annum, subject to PFI policy and assessment of the candidate’s suitability.

Educational Qualification and GATE Requirement

Candidates must possess a full-time bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university or institution, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Applicants must have appeared in the Electrical Engineering paper, code EE, of GATE 2025. The stated eligibility threshold is a “minimum 70% GATE-2025 score”. Candidates should confirm the precise interpretation of this threshold in the detailed notification before applying.
