NSPCL Recruitment 2026: 17 Senior Assistant Officer and Engineer Vacancies, Apply Online from September 7

NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a joint venture of NTPC and SAIL, has announced recruitment for 17 Senior Assistant Officer and Senior Assistant Engineer posts under Advertisement No. 01/2026. The vacancies are available in HR, Law, Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Instrumentation and IT/ERP disciplines.

The NSPCL Recruitment 2026 online application process will open at 10:00 AM on September 7 and close at 6:00 PM on September 22, 2026. Depending on the post, applicants need a Graduate degree with an HR-related postgraduate qualification, a Law degree, or a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks.

All posts are in E1 Grade with an IDA pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000. Candidates will be selected through an all-India Online Selection Test followed by a Personal Interview, while selected candidates will also have to meet the prescribed medical standards.

NSPCL Recruitment 2026 Notification

NSPCL is conducting the recruitment through Advertisement No. 01/2026 for Senior Assistant Officer and Senior Assistant Engineer positions. The 17 vacancies are spread across six disciplines, with the highest number of posts available in HR, Electrical and Mechanical.

A total of 17 vacancies are available across officer and engineering disciplines.

Educational Qualification

The qualification varies according to the post.

Senior Assistant Officer (HR)

Candidates must possess a Graduate degree in any discipline along with a two-year full-time Postgraduate Degree, Diploma or PG Programme in HR, Personnel, Industrial Relations or Personnel Management with at least 60% marks.

Knowledge of computers is desirable.

Senior Assistant Officer (Law)

Applicants must hold either a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a five-year Integrated Law Degree from a recognized University or Institution with at least 60% marks.

Senior Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

Candidates need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.

Senior Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

A B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks is required.

Senior Assistant Engineer (C&I)

Applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% marks.

Senior Assistant Engineer (IT/ERP)

Candidates need a B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer & Electronics & Communication with at least 60% marks.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the advertised posts is 32 years as on September 22, 2026.

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be available to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates according to applicable Government of India rules.

Salary and Pay Scale

The posts carry the E1 Grade under the IDA pay structure.

Selected candidates will receive remuneration and applicable benefits according to NSPCL rules.

Important Dates

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹300 for General category candidates.

Payment must be made through the prescribed online mode using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI.

NSPCL Selection Process

Selection will be carried out through the following stages:

1. Online Selection Test
2. Personal Interview
3. Medical Examination

The Online Selection Test will be conducted on an all-India basis and will include a Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) and an Executive Aptitude Test (EAT). Candidates will have to qualify both sections separately.

Applicants clearing the online test will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview. Final appointment will also be subject to meeting NSPCL’s medical fitness requirements.

The proposed examination centres are Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Raipur and Bangalore. NSPCL may add or cancel centres depending on administrative requirements.

Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond and serve NSPCL for at least four years after joining.

Candidates should consider the service commitment before accepting appointment.
