For Assistant Professor Grade-I, candidates require three years of experience after Ph.D. or six years of total teaching and research experience in a reputed academic institution, R&D laboratory or relevant industry, along with 20 cumulative essential credit points.
Associate Professor applicants require the prescribed experience that includes six years after Ph.D., including three years as Assistant Professor Grade-I at Level-12, or the alternative nine-year total experience condition with the required Level-12 experience. The position requires 50 cumulative credit points.
Professor applicants require the prescribed senior-level academic or research experience, including the applicable experience at Associate Professor level. A cumulative score of 80 credit points is required.
Experience from institutions of repute, R&D laboratories and relevant industry will be considered according to applicable NIT recruitment rules.

Selection Process
