NHM Dhamtari Eligibility and Qualification

Eligibility varies by post, and candidates must satisfy both the academic qualification and professional registration conditions wherever applicable.

For 2nd ANM, candidates should possess the prescribed ANM qualification and registration with the Chhattisgarh Nurses Registration Council. Medical Officer AYUSH posts require BHMS, BAMS or BUMS along with registration in a recognized AYUSH council.

MPW candidates require 10+2 with Biology, a one-year MPW Diploma and Chhattisgarh Paramedical Council registration. Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse positions generally require B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or GNM along with live registration with the Chhattisgarh Nursing Council.

Community Health Officer applicants should possess B.Sc Nursing with the integrated Certificate in Community Health course and the required Nursing Council registration.

Laboratory Technician candidates generally need 10+2 with Biology and DMLT, BMLT or CMLT, along with Paramedical Council registration. Physiotherapist applicants require BPT and registration with the appropriate Chhattisgarh council, while Clinical Psychologist requires the prescribed M.Phil, M.Sc or M.A Psychology qualification together with RCI recognition.

Radiographer/X-Ray Technician candidates should have passed 12th with Science and possess a recognized Radiography qualification along with Paramedical Council registration.

NHM Dhamtari Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2026.

The minimum age for applicants is 18 years. The maximum age is 70 years for medical posts and 64 years for managerial or administrative positions, subject to the specific recruitment rules applicable to each post.

Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved categories according to Chhattisgarh Government norms.

NHM Dhamtari Application Fee

The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft in favour of “District Health Society, Dhamtari.”

For posts carrying monthly remuneration below ₹25,000, Divyang, SC, ST and women candidates need to pay ₹100, OBC candidates ₹200 and Unreserved candidates ₹300.

For posts carrying salary of ₹25,000 or more, the fee is ₹200 for Divyang, SC, ST and women candidates, ₹300 for OBC and ₹400 for Unreserved candidates.

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications and separate Demand Drafts.

NHM Dhamtari Selection Process

Selection will be based on a combination of academic qualification, experience and an interview, written test or skill test, depending on the post.

Educational qualification can carry up to 65% weightage. Relevant experience may contribute around 15 to 20 marks, while the written test, interview or skill test can carry up to 20 marks.

Reserved-category candidates are required to secure at least 20% in the applicable assessment stage, while Unreserved candidates need at least 30%.

Additional bonus marks may be awarded for NHM experience and eligible COVID-19 service according to the recruitment rules.

Registration will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The eligible and ineligible list is expected to be displayed by 5:00 PM, with objections accepted until 5:30 PM. The final list will be displayed at 10:00 AM the following day, followed by the interview or test from 11:00 AM.
