Nuclear Fuel Complex (NFC), Hyderabad has invited online applications for 432 ITI Trade Apprentice positions for apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The NFC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 covers trades including Fitter, Electrician, Turner, COPA, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Welder, Instrument Mechanic and several others.

The notification was issued on August 27, 2026, and eligible ITI candidates have until September 16, 2026 to submit their applications through the NAPS portal. The apprenticeship will be for one year, with selected candidates receiving a monthly stipend of ₹10,560 or ₹11,040 according to the trade.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age is 25 years for General candidates, 28 years for OBC candidates and 30 years for SC/ST candidates as on the closing date. Applications will be reviewed by NFC’s Selection Committees, and selected candidates will be informed by email about the walk-in interview.

NFC ITI Apprentice Vacancy 2026

Fitter has the largest number of positions with 133 vacancies, followed by COPA with 65, Electrician with 58 and Turner with 51 vacancies.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should have passed Class 10 and possess an ITI qualification in the respective trade for which they are applying.

Candidates should ensure that the trade mentioned on their ITI certificate corresponds to the apprenticeship trade selected on the NAPS portal.

NFC Apprentice Age Limit

Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as on the closing date for applications.

Candidates should satisfy the applicable age requirements as on September 16, 2026.

Stipend During Apprenticeship

NFC will provide a monthly stipend according to the apprenticeship trade.

Candidates selected for Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Attendant Operator/Chemical Plant Operator, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Motor Mechanic, Draughtsman Mechanical and COPA will receive ₹11,040 per month.

The monthly stipend for Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber and Welder apprentices is ₹10,560.

How Candidates Will Be Selected

Applications submitted through the NAPS portal will be reviewed by the Selection Committees constituted by Nuclear Fuel Complex.

Candidates selected for the next stage will be called for a walk-in interview. Details regarding the interview will be communicated to candidates through their registered email addresses.
