UPPSC GIC Lecturer Mains Admit Card 2026 Released for 1,516 Posts; Exam on August 30

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the Mains Admit Card for the GIC Lecturer recruitment examination under Advertisement No. A-6/E-1/2025. The recruitment process covers 1,516 vacancies, including Lecturer posts for male and female candidates along with other notified positions.

UPPSC issued the GIC Lecturer Mains Admit Card on August 21, 2026. The preliminary/written-stage result was announced on July 20, following which the Mains application window remained open from July 29 to August 12. Candidates who completed the required Mains application process can now access their admit cards through the official UPPSC portal.

UPPSC GIC Lecturer Mains Admit Card 2026 Out

The commission has made the Mains admit card available for candidates shortlisted through the earlier stage of the GIC Lecturer recruitment examination. Candidates appearing in the Mains should download their hall tickets well before the examination date and check all the information printed on them.

The Mains examination is scheduled for August 30, 2026. Candidates should carefully verify their examination venue, reporting time and other instructions mentioned on the admit card before travelling to the test centre.

The recruitment was originally advertised in 2025. The earlier examination was conducted on June 14 and June 17, 2026, followed by the release of the answer key on June 18 and the result on July 20.

A total of 1,516 vacancies were notified through this recruitment process. The largest share consists of Lecturer posts for male candidates, with 777 vacancies, while 694 posts are available for female candidates.

UPPSC GIC Lecturer Eligibility Criteria

For the GIC Lecturer positions, candidates are required to possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification accepted under the recruitment rules.

UPPSC GIC Lecturer Age Limit

UPPSC GIC Lecturer Application Fee

General, OBC and EWS candidates were required to pay an application fee of ₹125. The prescribed fee for SC and ST candidates was ₹65, while Ex-Servicemen were also listed with a fee of ₹65. PH candidates were required to pay ₹25.

Applicants could make the required payment using supported online facilities such as Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS and Cash Card or Mobile Wallet services.

  1. Visit the official Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
  2. Go to the Admit Card, Examination or latest notifications section.
  3. Find the link for the GIC Lecturer Mains Admit Card 2026 under Advertisement No. A-6/E-1/2025.
  4. Click on the relevant admit card download link.
  5. Enter the registration details and other information requested by the portal.
  6. Submit the information to access your Mains admit card.
  7. Check your name, roll number, examination centre, reporting time and examination instructions.
  8. Download the admit card and save a copy.
  9. Take a clear printout to carry to the examination centre.
