RSSB Lab Assistant Result 2026 Released for 804 Posts, Check Merit List and Result

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has declared the Lab Assistant Result 2026 for the recruitment of 804 vacancies across different departments in Rajasthan. The recruitment includes Laboratory Assistant Grade-III, Laboratory Assistant, Junior Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Assistant (Geography) posts under Advertisement No. 05/2026. The RSSB Lab Assistant Result 2026 was declared on August 14 after the written examination held on May 9 and 10, 2026. The recruitment also includes vacancies for Geography, Photography and other laboratory-related positions.

RSSB Lab Assistant Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification varies according to the department in which the Lab Assistant vacancy was advertised. Candidates were therefore required to meet the qualification prescribed for the specific department and post selected in their application.

For Secondary Education Department vacancies, candidates were required to have passed Senior Secondary or Class 12 with at least three optional subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology.

Candidates applying for Agriculture Department positions needed to have completed Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary in the Science stream from a recognized board. For Sanskrit Education, applicants were required to have passed Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary or Varishtha Upadhyay with Science from a recognized board.

Eligibility for State Forensic Science Laboratory Posts

For vacancies under the Home Department’s State Forensic Science Laboratory, candidates needed Senior Secondary in the Science stream with at least second division. An eligible computer qualification was also required.

Accepted computer qualifications included a Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science or Computer Application, an ‘O’ Level certificate from NIELIT, or the prescribed RS-CIT certificate.

Eligibility for PHED and College Education Posts

For Public Health Engineering Department positions, candidates were required to have passed Higher Secondary or Class 12 in the Science stream with Chemistry as a compulsory subject.

Candidates applying for College Education Department vacancies needed Senior Secondary or Class 12 with Geography as one of the subjects.

RSSB Lab Assistant Age Limit

Candidates were required to be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to eligible reserved categories according to RSSB and Rajasthan government rules.
