National Jute Board 2026 Recruitment Notification Released for 14 Consultant and Young Professional Vacancies

Qualification and Experience Requirements

For Consultant positions, applicants must have retired from the post of Under Secretary or equivalent or above in the Central Government, State Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations, or Public Sector Undertakings. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience dealing with work analogous to the position for which they are applying during their government service.

For Young Professional (Finance & Economic Services), candidates must possess CA/CMA or B.Com with MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. At least one year of post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounts and Audit is required.

Young Professional (Market Promotion & Scheme Implementation) applicants require an MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification from a recognized university along with one year of post-qualification experience in areas such as Marketing, Product Positioning, Export Promotion, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, Retail or FMCG. Experience in the jute or textiles sector is preferred.

For Young Professional (Technology & Technical), candidates should possess an M.Tech or M.E. in Textile Engineering, Jute Technology or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university. They also require at least one year of post-qualification experience in Textiles, Jute, Agri-business, Agricultural Research, R&D, Product Development, Technology Upgradation or Technology Transfer.

Remuneration and Contract Terms

Young Professionals engaged by the National Jute Board will receive consolidated remuneration of ₹70,000 per month. Their remuneration is governed by the Ministry of Textiles Office Memorandum dated February 24, 2025.

Consultant remuneration and engagement terms will be regulated in accordance with Department of Expenditure OM No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated December 9, 2020.

These positions are contractual engagements and do not constitute regular appointments in the National Jute Board.
