Qualification and Experience

Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution in India.

Working knowledge of Marathi or Hindi is desirable. Candidates with at least three years of experience in administration, accounting or correspondence work will also have the desirable experience specified for the position.

Applicants are also expected to have proficiency in Microsoft Office along with communication, multitasking and analytical skills.

Age Limit

Candidates should be below 35 years of age according to the prescribed eligibility date.

Mumbai Port Authority Intern Salary

Junior Professional Interns will receive consolidated remuneration of ₹40,000 per month.

A 5% annual increase on the last-drawn remuneration may be provided based on satisfactory performance. The contractual remuneration does not include allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance or medical benefits.

The initial engagement will be for two years and may be extended for a further period of up to two years, subject to the applicable conditions.

Selection Process

Applications will first be examined to determine whether candidates meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. Eligible candidates may then be shortlisted for the further selection process.
