MSSC Multi Tasking Staff Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 10 MTS Posts in Manipur
The Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) has officially announced the recruitment of 10 Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) positions through Advertisement No. ES-SSC-101/1/2026-MSSC-MSSC. This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for Matriculate candidates who are permanent residents of Manipur and possess working knowledge of Manipuri or any tribal dialect of the state. The selection process will be through Computer-Based Test (CBT), and interested candidates can apply online from 15th January 2026 to 5th February 2026 via the official website.

Education
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (HSLC) from a recognized Board.
They must also:
- Be citizens of India
- Be permanent residents of Manipur, or have parent/ancestor in direct lineage who is a permanent resident (with proper documentation)
- Be able to speak Manipuri or any of the tribal dialects of the state
Salary
- Level 1 of Pay Matrix: Rs. 15,700 – 50,000 (pre-revised Grade Pay Rs. 1650)
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years (as on 05-02-2026)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- Government servants: extent of continuous service
- DAP: as per rules

Selection Process
The selection process will be through a Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising 100 questions in 75 minutes (100 minutes for DAP with scribe):
- General Knowledge: 50 Questions – 50 Marks
- Basic Mathematics: 25 Questions – 25 Marks
- English Language: 25 Questions – 25 Marks
Marking Scheme:
- +1 for each correct answer
- –0.5 for each incorrect answer
