Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, has invited online applications for 50 contractual positions of Young Professional, Advisor and Senior Consultant. The KVIC Recruitment 2026 covers vacancies across Accounts and Audit, HR and Administration, Khadi, Legal, Marketing, Science and Technology and several other functional areas.

Young Professional positions are aimed at candidates with relevant postgraduate qualifications, while Senior Consultant posts require relevant postgraduate/management qualifications and professional experience. The remuneration structure differs by engagement. Young Professionals are offered ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month plus conveyance allowance, while Senior Consultants receive ₹30,000–₹40,000 plus conveyance allowance. Advisor remuneration is governed by the applicable government/DoPT provisions.

Young Professional Vacancy Distribution

Young Professional positions are available across eight functional areas, with Accounts and Audit having the highest number of openings.

Young Professional Qualification and Age

Candidates applying for Young Professional positions should possess a full-time postgraduate qualification in the relevant field from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institution, subject to the department-specific requirements.

Specific preferred qualifications vary by function. For example, Accounts-related positions may require or prefer qualifications such as CA/M.Com, while Legal positions require the relevant legal academic background. Candidates must be below 27 years of age as of October 1, 2026.

Previous professional experience is not mandatory for Young Professional positions. Internship or training periods are not treated as qualifying work experience.

Advisor Vacancies

KVIC has allocated 15 Advisor positions across eight functional areas.

Advisor applicants require at least 15 years of relevant professional experience in Government or PSU organizations.

The stated age range is 40 to 65 years as of the closing date of application. The positions are also open to eligible retired or voluntarily retired personnel subject to the recruitment conditions.

Senior Consultant Vacancy Details

The 15 Senior Consultant vacancies cover nine functional areas.

Senior Consultant applicants should possess the relevant postgraduate or management qualification and at least five years of experience in the applicable specialization.

Candidates must be below 39 years of age as of the prescribed closing date.

KVIC Salary and Remuneration

For Advisor positions, remuneration is determined under the applicable government provisions, including the prescribed methodology for eligible retired personnel.

Selection Process
