JSSHS Senior Resident Vacancy 2026

The 37 vacancies are distributed across 15 specialties.

JSSHS Senior Resident Eligibility

Candidates may qualify through more than one educational and experience route.

Applicants possessing DM, MCh, DrNB, MD or MS in the concerned specialty can apply according to the requirements of the post.

Candidates with MD or MS in a relevant basic specialty may also be considered if they have three years of experience, preferably including at least one year in the concerned super-specialty.

Another eligibility route is MBBS with three years of experience, including at least two years in the concerned specialty.

JSSHS Senior Resident Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 50 years.

SC and ST candidates are eligible for five years of relaxation in the upper age limit, while OBC candidates receive three years of relaxation.

PwD candidates are eligible for age relaxation according to Government of India rules.

JSSHS Senior Resident Salary 2026

Selected Senior Residents will receive basic pay of ₹67,700 per month.

Admissible allowances will also be payable according to the applicable rules governing the appointment.
