ISRO Scientist Engineer Age Limit

The upper age limit for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts is 28 years as on September 16, 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable to serving Central Government civilian employees, Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in accordance with Government of India rules.

Application Fee and Refund

All applicants are required to initially pay a processing fee of ₹750 per application through the Bharatkosh e-Payment gateway.

The actual non-refundable application fee is ₹250. The refund depends on the candidate’s category and appearance in the Written Test/CBT.

The fee must be paid online through Bharatkosh. Candidates should follow the payment and refund conditions specified in the recruitment notification.

Salary and Pay Level

Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ is placed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix. The initial basic pay is ₹56,100 per month.
