Fireman ‘A’ Physical and Medical Requirements

Candidates applying for the three Fireman ‘A’ vacancies have additional physical and medical requirements.

Applicants must satisfy the Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) requirements prescribed for the Fireman post. They are also required to upload a valid Preliminary Medical Examination Certificate issued by an authorized medical practitioner while submitting the online application.

The Class 10 qualification alone is therefore not sufficient for the Fireman ‘A’ post; candidates must also meet the applicable physical and medical standards.
