The recruitment covers Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), Yantrik in three engineering trades and Hygienist-I. Navik (General Duty) positions are open to male and female applicants, while the other posts are restricted to men. Educational requirements range from matriculation to Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics or an approved engineering diploma.

The combined allocation is 365 vacancies. Yantrik positions are available only in Batch 01/2027, while Navik Domestic Branch and Hygienist-I positions belong to Batch 02/2027. Navik GD candidates may be allotted either batch according to merit, vacancies and administrative requirements.

Only Navik GD is open to both men and women. Navik DB, Yantrik and Hygienist-I vacancies are for male candidates.
