Alternatively, candidates may qualify with a Bachelor’s Degree in the specified subjects or a Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing, Logistics Management or Public Procurement along with the prescribed two years of store and accounts experience.

Foreman of Stores Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age as on November 3, 2026.

For the ST-reserved vacancy, the upper age limit is relaxable by five years. Government servants can receive age relaxation of up to five years in accordance with the applicable rules and conditions.

Selection will be conducted through three principal stages:

1. Scrutiny of applications
2. Written examination
3. Document verification

Indian Coast Guard Foreman Exam Pattern

The written examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode and will carry 80 marks.

Headquarters, Coast Guard Region (West), Mumbai has separately advertised six Group C civilian vacancies under Recruitment Notification No. CGRHQ(WEST)/01/2026.
