Selection Process
The selection procedure depends on the group and level of the position. Group A candidates may be shortlisted through a screening test, interview or both.
For Group B and Group C posts, the selection process may involve three levels:
- Objective-based test
- Descriptive written test
- Skill test or trade test
Candidates will need to qualify through the stages applicable to their respective posts.

Selected candidates will be appointed under pay levels ranging from Level 4 to Level 13 of the 7th CPC.
Junior Technician posts carry Level 4 pay of ₹25,500–81,100, while Hindi Translator and Junior Technical Superintendent positions are placed at Level 6 with ₹35,400–1,12,400.
Assistant Registrar, Counsellor and Security Officer posts carry Level 10 pay of ₹56,100–1,77,500. Senior Technical Officer is placed at Level 12 with ₹78,800–2,09,200, while the Superintending Engineer post carries the highest pay range at Level 13, ₹1,23,100–2,15,900.
