IACS Recruitment 2026 For 10 Assistant & MTS Posts

Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, has announced recruitment for 10 posts including Assistant (Group B) and MTS (General) (Group C). Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and experience can apply for Assistant posts, while Matriculation pass candidates are eligible for MTS posts. The recruitment offers regular government positions with Pay Level-7 and Level-1 salary structures. The application process is offline and candidates must carefully check eligibility before applying. Education

• Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years experience and knowledge of English, computer applications and office administration
• MTS: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board

Salary

• Assistant: Pay Level-7 (₹44,900)
• MTS: Pay Level-1 (₹18,000)

Age Limit

• Assistant: Not exceeding 30 years
• MTS: 18 to 25 years

Application Fee

• General/Others: ₹1000
• SC/ST/Female: ₹500

Selection Process

• Assistant: Written Test + Skill Test
• MTS: Computer Based Test (Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness, English)
