Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag has announced recruitment for 12 contractual vacancies covering Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, Multipurpose Worker, Para Cook and Para Helper posts. The recruitment is open to candidates aged 18 to 45 years, subject to applicable relaxation under Himachal Pradesh government rules. HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Para Pump Operator

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) and possess an ITI certificate in Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic trade. An equivalent qualification under the relevant skill development scheme is also acceptable.

Para Fitter

Applicants must have passed Matriculation and hold an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade, or an equivalent qualification under the applicable skill development scheme.

Multipurpose Worker

Candidates must have passed Middle (8th) standard from a recognised school.

Para Cook

Candidates must have passed Matriculation and possess a Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management/Food Production. Alternatively, candidates with five years of cooking or catering experience are eligible.

Para Helper

Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognised Board/University.

For Para Cook and Para Helper, an additional condition states that no family member of the candidate should be employed in any kind of Government, PSU or Board job.

Age Limit

Candidates should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Age relaxation will be applicable according to the rules of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
