Selection Process

Selection will begin with shortlisting based on marks obtained in the NCVT National Apprenticeship Certificate examination.

Candidates shortlisted on merit will be called for the Trade/Practical Test. Document verification will subsequently be conducted in merit order according to the number of available vacancies.

Preference will be given in the prescribed sequence, beginning with AOCP ex-apprentices of Ordnance Factories under Munitions India Limited, followed by other eligible AOCP candidates and subsequently candidates from the specified categories/trades in accordance with the notification.

Contract Tenure

The appointment will initially be made for a period of one year.

The contractual tenure can be extended for further periods based on performance and organizational requirements, subject to an overall maximum engagement of four years.

The tenure-based appointment does not automatically confer any right to permanent employment.
