Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has opened recruitment for 31 Trainee Project Executive vacancies across five technical and finance disciplines. The recruitment under Advertisement No. 05/2026 includes 12 Electrical, nine Mechanical, five Electronics, four Naval Architecture and one Finance position.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Vacancy Details

Electrical Engineering has the highest number of openings with 12 posts, followed by Mechanical Engineering with nine.

Qualification Requirements

For Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Naval Architecture disciplines, candidates must possess a full-time regular B.E., B.Tech or four-year B.Sc. Engineering qualification in the respective discipline from a recognized university or institute.

For the Finance discipline, applicants require Graduation along with any one of the following qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAI
• Cost Accountant qualification from ICMAI
• Two-year postgraduate Diploma or postgraduate Degree in Finance

Candidates should ensure that their qualification corresponds to the discipline for which they are applying.

Experience Requirement

Applicants must have at least one year of relevant experience as on July 31, 2026.

Candidates who have completed one year of Graduate Apprenticeship training also meet the stated experience requirement. Apprenticeship completed in an industry is treated as qualifying experience for this purpose.

Age Limit

Age will be determined as on July 31, 2026.

Relaxation for PwBD candidates and other eligible categories will apply in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

GSL Trainee Project Executive Salary

The Trainee Project Executive posts carry consolidated monthly remuneration rather than a regular pay scale.

The initial contract is for two years. The third-year remuneration will apply only if the engagement is extended for the additional year.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates.

SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt from paying the application fee. GSL Graduate Apprentices are also exempt.

Applicable candidates must pay the fee through the prescribed SBI e-pay facility while completing the application process.
