Gliders India Limited (GIL) has announced recruitment for eight experienced professionals across Information Technology, International Marketing, Finance & Accounts, Supply Chain Management and Administration. The openings include Deputy General Manager, Senior Manager and Manager positions and will be filled on a Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis.

Applications for Gliders India Recruitment 2026 are being accepted by email until September 20. Depending on the post, candidates need engineering, MCA, CA or diploma qualifications along with relevant professional experience. The annual CTC ranges from ₹5.40 lakh for Manager positions to ₹14.40 lakh for DGM posts.

GIL is a Defence Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence and operates in parachutes, inflatables and technical textiles. The recruitment is being conducted under Vacancy Notification No. 04/2026, issued on September 5, 2026.

Gliders India Recruitment 2026 Notification

Vacancy Notification No. 04/2026 covers three DGM posts, two Senior Manager posts and three Manager vacancies. Two of the Manager positions are in Supply Chain Management, while one is for Administration.

GIL Vacancy and CTC Details

The highest remuneration under the recruitment is offered for the three DGM positions, each carrying an annual CTC of ₹14.40 lakh.

The stated annual CTC excludes gratuity where applicable.

Post-Wise Qualification and Experience

DGM – Information Technology

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/IT or MCA along with at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Knowledge of DBMS/SQL, programming, dashboard and website development, software methodologies and Linux environments such as SUSE or Ubuntu is desirable.

DGM – Marketing (International)

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in marketing, sales, business development or commercial functions.

Experience in defence marketing, government tenders or international defence business is preferred.

DGM – Finance & Accounts

Candidates must be qualified Chartered Accountants with valid ICAI membership and at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.

Relevant areas include project accounting, finalization of accounts, annual reports and corporate governance, costing and budgeting, internal financial controls, audits, taxation, fund management and MIS. Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.

Senior Manager – Information Technology

Candidates need BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA with five years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Diploma in Engineering in CS/IT or BCA with seven years of experience is accepted.

Relevant technical expertise in databases, programming, software development and Linux is desirable.

Senior Manager – Marketing (International)

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering with five years of relevant experience is required. Candidates with an Engineering Diploma and seven years of experience can also apply.

The experience should be in marketing, sales, business development or commercial functions.

Manager – Supply Chain Management

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with three years of experience or an Engineering Diploma with five years of experience.

An MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials or Operations is desirable. Experience with GeM, e-procurement, vendor development, inventory management and supply-chain digitization in Government, CPSE, DPSU or large manufacturing organizations is also desirable.

Manager – Administration

This position is for candidates retired from a Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence who held a position corresponding to E-3 level or above at retirement.

Applicants must have substantial professional experience in HR, Personnel, Industrial Relations or Administration.

Age Limit

The maximum age for the DGM, Senior Manager and Manager (Supply Chain Management) positions is 50 years.

For Manager (Administration), the upper age limit is 65 years due to the post-specific requirement for retired Defence PSU personnel.

Application Fee

The ₹500 fee is non-refundable and must be transferred online to the GIL bank account specified in the recruitment notification. Candidates paying the fee must mention the transaction number/UTR and payment date in their application and include the payment receipt with the documents.

Selection Process

Gliders India Limited may select candidates through either a written test followed by an interview or through an interview alone.

The final selection method will be decided by GIL based on its recruitment requirements and the applications received. Meeting the minimum eligibility conditions does not automatically entitle an applicant to be called for selection.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
