EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 12 Pipeline, Offshore and Project Engineer Posts

• Engineers India Limited (EIL) has opened applications for 12 Associate Engineer Grade I vacancies on Fixed Term Basis for Pipeline and Offshore Projects.

Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has started online registration for 12 Associate Engineer Grade I positions for its Pipeline and Offshore Projects. The fixed-term recruitment covers Pipeline/Piping Engineer, Offshore Structural Engineer and Project Engineer positions under Advertisement No. HRD/Rectt./Advt./2026-27/07.

Applications opened at 00:00 hours on August 25 and will close at 11:59 PM on September 8, 2026. Candidates need a B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI and a minimum of two years of relevant post-qualification experience as on July 31, 2026.

Appointments will initially be for two years and may be extended up to a maximum of three years depending on performance and organizational requirements. Selected engineers can be deployed in NCR, at construction sites across India or abroad.

EIL Associate Engineer Vacancy Details

Six of the 12 vacancies are for Pipeline/Piping Engineers in the Mechanical discipline. Four Offshore Structural Engineer positions are available for candidates from Civil, Ocean, Marine and Naval Architecture disciplines, while another two vacancies are for Project Engineers.

Candidates can apply for only one position under this recruitment.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess a B.E., B.Tech. or B.Sc. Engineering qualification in the discipline prescribed for the relevant position.

The qualifying degree must have been completed with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPI as on July 31, 2026. The qualification should also have been acquired within the prescribed minimum course duration.

Where a university or institute provides a formula for converting CGPA/CGPI into percentage marks, that method will apply. Where no conversion procedure is prescribed, the applicable EIL conversion provisions should be followed.

Experience Requirements

All three positions require at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience as on July 31, 2026.

Pipeline/Piping Engineer

Mechanical Engineering candidates should have relevant experience, preferably in design and engineering involving piping or pipelines in areas such as refineries, petrochemical facilities, gas processing plants, fertilizer and chemical plants, offshore installations, pipelines, jetties or LNG projects.

Familiarity with relevant engineering standards and codes such as ASME B31.4, B31.8, B31.3, API, ISO, OISD and PNGRB is preferred.

Offshore Structural Engineer

Candidates should possess relevant Civil/Structural design experience involving facilities or structures such as refineries, pipeline terminals, LPG/LNG terminals, ports, jetties, shipbuilding or ship-repair facilities, offshore fixed platforms and marine structures.

Project Engineer

Applicants should possess relevant design and engineering experience connected with pipeline/piping, structural or related project activities appropriate to the disciplines specified for the position.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 32 years as on July 31, 2026.

EIL Associate Engineer Salary

Associate Engineer Grade I positions carry consolidated monthly remuneration based on the category of the city where the candidate is deployed.

The consolidated remuneration includes HRA and PF.

Other applicable benefits include reimbursement of medical insurance premium up to Rs. 2 lakh for self, out-of-pocket expenses for additional working hours, coverage under the GPAT Scheme, travelling allowance for official duties and statutory benefits. Paid leave is available at the rate of two days for each completed month of service.

Fixed Term Appointment

The Associate Engineer positions are being filled on a Fixed Term Basis rather than as regular appointments.

The initial engagement will be for two years and may be extended up to a maximum period of three years depending on performance and EIL’s requirements.

Appointment under this recruitment does not provide a claim for subsequent regular employment with EIL.

Selection Process

There is no written examination specified for the EIL Associate Engineer Recruitment 2026. Selection will proceed through the following stages:

1. Online application and initial scrutiny
2. Screening of eligibility
3. Walk-in document verification/screening
4. Personal Interview

Only candidates found eligible after screening and document verification will be permitted to participate in the Personal Interview.

Interview details will be communicated to eligible candidates through their registered email addresses. The interview may be arranged at Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai or Vadodara.

Candidates called for the process must report at 8:00 AM and carry the required original documents along with self-attested photocopies and six printed copies of their submitted application form.

3. Select the appropriate position — A, B or C — after checking the discipline and experience requirements.
4. Complete online registration and enter the required personal, educational and professional experience details.
5. Follow the prescribed method for entering or converting percentage marks. Where required, percentage should be rounded down to the lower whole number.
6. Upload the scanned photograph of up to 75 KB and signature of up to 25 KB in the prescribed format.
7. Review and submit the application by 11:59 PM on September 8, 2026.
8. Note the Registration Number generated after successful submission.
9. Take six printouts of the completed application form and affix the photograph where required.
10. Candidates called for interview should attend at the communicated venue with their application copies, original documents and required self-attested photocopies.
