DGQA Recruitment 2026: 32 Technician Vacancies in Kanpur, Apply by November 6

The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), under the Ministry of Defence’s Department of Defence Production, has invited applications for 32 Technician vacancies at the Controllerate of Quality Assurance General Stores in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Applications opened on October 17, 2026, and must reach the controllerate by November 6, 2026, at 5 PM.

The recruitment includes 11 Skilled Technician and 21 Semi-Skilled Technician positions under Advertisement No. CQA (GS)/2026/1. Relevant ITI qualifications are required, while Skilled Technician applicants must also have passed Class 10 and possess one year of experience.

Candidates must apply offline through Registered Post or Speed Post. Applicants covered by the prescribed remote-area provisions have an extended receipt deadline of November 13, 2026, at 5 PM.

DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Notification

The recruitment covers technical positions carrying Pay Level 1 and Pay Level 2 remuneration. Selection will involve a written examination, trade test, medical examination and document verification. There is no application fee for any candidate.
