Deendayal Port Authority has announced 20 contractual vacancies for its hospital services under Advertisement No. MH/GN/1001/2026 (Contractual).

Appointments will initially be made for 11 months. The engagement may be extended depending on performance and the requirements of the Port Authority.

Qualification and Experience

Senior Physiotherapist applicants need a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized university along with five years of post-qualification experience.

For Physiotherapist, a recognized Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy with three years of experience is required.

Optometrist applicants should possess a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Optometry along with one year of relevant experience.

For OT Assistant, candidates need GNM or B.Sc Nursing along with certification in OT Assistant and one year of experience.

The Nurse position requires B.Sc Nursing or GNM in General Nursing and Midwifery along with one year of relevant experience.

ECG Technician candidates should possess a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in ECG/Cardiac Care Technology with one year of experience.

Male and Female Ward Orderly applicants need SSC or a higher qualification along with one year of relevant experience.

Age relaxation for eligible SC, ST and OBC candidates will apply according to the prescribed rules.

DPA Hospital Staff Salary and Contract Conditions

Contractual remuneration ranges from ₹31,000 to ₹50,000 per month, depending on the position. No additional regular allowances are included in the consolidated monthly remuneration.

The engagement is initially for 11 months and may be extended depending on satisfactory performance and DPA requirements.

Contractual personnel are also provided the applicable weekly off, closed holidays, national holidays and up to 12 days of casual leave per year. In-house medical treatment at Port Hospital is available for the employee, while family OPD treatment is subject to the conditions prescribed by DPA.

Residential accommodation in the Port colony may be provided subject to availability and payment of the applicable licence fee.

TA/DA may be admissible for official tours according to the equivalent regular employee level. However, no TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview or for joining.

Walk-in Interview Schedule

Candidates do not need to submit an online or postal application in advance for these 20 hospital vacancies. They must report directly for the interview on the date assigned to their post.

DPA Pilot Vacancy Details

One of the eight vacancies is identified horizontally for the specified PwBD category (Dw/AAV).
