Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL), Dehradun under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited offline applications for 45 Paid Internship positions for meritorious engineering students. The internship is available for final-year B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.Sc. (Electronics) students in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Selected interns will undergo a six-month internship and receive a stipend of ₹30,000. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications by Speed Post on or before 30 June 2026. This internship offers valuable exposure to advanced defence technologies at one of DRDO’s premier laboratories.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be Indian citizens pursuing a full-time regular course.
• Final-year B.Tech/B.E. students should have completed the 6th semester (or complete it by July 2026).
• M.Tech/M.Sc. (Electronics) students should have completed the 2nd semester (or complete it by July 2026).
• Minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale or equivalent percentage.
• No backlog in the first five semesters.

Educational Qualification

• Final Year B.Tech/B.E. in:
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
• M.Tech/M.Sc. (Electronics) students meeting the eligibility criteria.

Other Requirements

• Recommendation letter from the Head/Dean/Principal of the Institute.
• Brief Bio-data/Write-up.
• Self-attested copies of all required documents.
• Applications submitted by email or hand delivery will not be accepted.

Due Date

• Last Date for Receipt of Application: 30 June 2026
• Intimation to Selected Students: 15 July 2026
• Internship Commencement: 03 August 2026

Salary

• Total Stipend: ₹30,000

Stipend Payment Schedule:

• ₹15,000 after successful completion of the first 3 months (subject to attendance requirements).
• ₹15,000 after successful completion of the remaining 3 months.
