CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Notice Out: Apply Online to 521 Head Constable & Constable Vacancies by November 11

• CRPF has announced 521 Sports Quota vacancies for Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) posts.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced recruitment of 521 meritorious sportspersons for Head Constable (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) posts under Sports Quota-2026. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. R.II-21/2026-Sports and is open to eligible male and female candidates who are ordinarily residents of India.

CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 includes 182 Head Constable (GD) and 339 Constable (GD) vacancies across 22 sports disciplines, including Athletics, Aquatics, Shooting, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Football, Boxing and Volleyball. Online registration will begin on October 12 and close on November 11, 2026.

Head Constable applicants require 10+2 or an equivalent qualification, while Constable applicants require Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates must also possess the prescribed sports achievements. Selection will be through identity and document checks, Physical Standard Test (PST), sports trial and medical examination, with no written examination specified.

CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 Notification

CRPF is recruiting meritorious sportspersons under Advertisement No. R.II-21/2026-Sports. Both men and women are eligible, subject to the post-wise, gender-wise and sports discipline-wise vacancy distribution.

Post-Wise Vacancy Details

Of the 521 vacancies, 408 are earmarked for male candidates and 113 for female candidates.

Sports Discipline-Wise Vacancies

Athletics has the highest number of positions with 101 vacancies, followed by Aquatics with 60 and Shooting with 53.

Educational Qualification

Head Constable (GD)

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a Board or University recognized by the Central or State Government.

Equivalent Army qualification is also accepted for eligible Ex-Army personnel.

Constable (GD)

Candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

The prescribed educational qualification must be held as on November 11, 2026.

Sports Qualification for Head Constable (GD)

In addition to the educational qualification, HC/GD candidates must meet one of the prescribed sports-achievement standards. These include:

• Representing the country in a recognized international competition/meet with the required Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports clearance.
• Representing a State/UT in recognized National Games or Championships and securing a medal/position up to third place.
• Securing first or second position in an individual event in Inter-University tournaments; for team events, the team must have reached the final.
• Winning a Gold or Silver medal in an individual or team event at recognized Junior National-level Games, Championships or Meets.

Sports Qualification for Constable (GD)

CT/GD candidates must satisfy one of the applicable sports criteria, including:

• Representing a State in Senior or Junior National-level Games/Championships organized by a recognized National Sports Federation.
• Representing a State School team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by SGFI and securing a medal/position up to third place.
• Representing a State/UT in Khelo India University Games, Youth Games or Winter Games and securing a medal/position up to third place.
• Representing their university in Inter-University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards.

Only eligible achievements during the period from September 30, 2024 to September 30, 2026 will be considered.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years as on August 1, 2026.

The stated date-of-birth range is:

Born not earlier than August 2, 2003 and not later than August 1, 2008.

The candidate’s name and date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted for recruitment purposes.

Age Relaxation

The relaxation applies according to the relevant Recruitment Rules and Sports Quota provisions.

CRPF Sports Quota Salary

Head Constable and Constable positions carry different pay levels under the Pay Matrix.

Other allowances and benefits will be governed by the rules applicable to CRPF personnel.

Selection Process

Applications found in order will lead to the issue of online admit cards for eligible candidates.

3. Complete One Time Registration if you are not already registered.
4. Log in and fill out the online application with the required personal and educational information.
5. Select the applicable Head Constable or Constable post and sports discipline.
6. Enter details of the qualifying sports achievements carefully.
7. Upload the prescribed photograph, signature, educational certificates and sports certificates.
8. Pay the ₹100 application fee if applicable. Female, SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt.
9. Review and submit the application by November 11, 2026.
10. Save or print the submitted application for the recruitment process.
11. Candidates who need to modify their submitted application can use the correction window from November 12 to November 14, 2026.
