Qualification Requirements

For Trade Apprentice positions, candidates must have passed Class 10 and possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) in the relevant notified trade.

For Technician (Vocational) Apprentice positions, applicants must have passed Vocational Higher Secondary Education in the relevant discipline.

Candidates must be domiciled in Kerala. Those who have already undergone apprenticeship training are not eligible. Where a qualification is claimed as equivalent to the prescribed requirement, the necessary equivalency certificate must be produced.

CSL Apprentice Stipend

Selected Trade and Technician (Vocational) Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹11,000 per month during the one-year apprenticeship training.

CSL will not provide additional boarding, lodging or travel allowances as part of the apprenticeship engagement.
