CICT Recruitment 2026 for Associate Professors / Teaching Faculty and Other Posts

The Central Institute of Classical Tamil (CICT), Chennai, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released the CICT Recruitment 2026 notification for 06 Associate Professor posts on a regular basis. Candidates holding a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with the required teaching and research experience are eligible to apply. The recruitment is being conducted through offline mode. The vacancies are available across six different academic disciplines. Eligible candidates must submit their completed application form along with the prescribed application fee and supporting documents before 26 August 2026.

Salary

• Academic Level 13A of the 7th CPC UGC Pay Matrix.
• Applicable allowances as per institute rules.

Age Limit

• No upper age limit specified.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India/UGC rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹500/-
• SC / ST / PwBD: ₹250/-
• Fee should be paid through Demand Draft in favour of “Director, CICT, Chennai”, payable at Chennai.
