CGSSB Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for Vahan Chalak (Driver) should have passed Class 12 and possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence. The same basic qualification and HMV licence requirement applies to Vahan Chalak-cum-Operator posts.
Store Keeper applicants should have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. Mechanic candidates require Class 12 along with a Diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade from an ITI or other recognized institute.

CGSSB Age Limit 2026
The age criteria are calculated as on January 1, 2025. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years.
A general relaxation of five years is applicable to candidates according to the provided recruitment conditions. Additional relaxation is available to eligible SC, ST, OBC, women, Ex-Servicemen and other categories under Chhattisgarh Government rules.

CGSSB Physical Standards

The application fee for the written examination stage is ₹350 for General candidates, ₹250 for OBC candidates and ₹200 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
The fee is refundable to eligible Chhattisgarh local-resident candidates who actually appear for the written examination. The refund will be processed after declaration of the result according to the applicable rules.
