CBRI Recruitment 2026 for 65 Project Associate, Project Assistant, Senior PAT & Principal PAT Posts

CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CSIR-CBRI), Roorkee, has released the CSIR-CBRI Recruitment 2026 notification for 65 temporary Project Staff vacancies under various sponsored research projects. The recruitment includes Project Associate (PAT-I & PAT-II), Project Assistant (PA-I & PA-II), Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT), and Principal Project Associate (Principal PAT) posts across multiple engineering, science, architecture, and social science disciplines. Candidates with qualifications ranging from ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Tech., B.Arch., M.Tech., M.Sc., M.Arch., and Ph.D. can apply depending on the post. Selection will be through walk-in interviews scheduled between 13 August and 20 August 2026.

Other Requirements
Candidates must report for certificate verification between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the scheduled interview date.
Original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies must be produced.
Candidates currently working in CSIR-CBRI must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Appointments are purely temporary and co-terminus with the respective projects.
Salary
Post Monthly Salary Project Assistant-I ₹18,000 + HRA Project Assistant-II ₹20,000 + HRA Project Associate-I ₹25,000 to ₹31,000 + HRA Project Associate-II ₹28,000 to ₹42,000 + HRA Senior Project Associate ₹42,000 + HRA Principal Project Associate ₹49,000 + HRA
Age Limit
Project Assistant / Project Associate: Maximum 35 years
Senior Project Associate / Principal Project Associate: Maximum 40 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.
