BSUSC Recruitment 2026 for 3687 Assistant Professor / Teaching Faculty and Other Posts

The Bihar State University Service Commission (BSUSC) has released the BSUSC Recruitment 2026 notification for the recruitment of 3,687 Contractual Assistant Professor (Faculty) posts across ten universities in Bihar. The vacancies are available in six subjects including Hindi, English, History, Economics, Political Science, and Sociology. Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree with the required marks along with NET or Ph.D. qualification are eligible to apply. The online application process commenced on 03 July 2026 and will continue until 15 July 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official Samarth portal without paying any application fee.

Salary

• Salary equivalent to the entry-level Assistant Professor pay.
• Basic Pay along with Dearness Allowance (DA) and other admissible benefits.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 43 years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 August 2026.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Bihar Government rules.
