The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru South District, has announced 102 Neerapavati Pourakarmika vacancies across three City Municipal Councils. The recruitment covers contract-based sanitation worker positions in Ramanagara, Channapatna and Kanakapura. No formal educational qualification is required, but applicants must be able to speak Kannada. Preference will be given to eligible candidates with at least one year of daily-wage sanitation work experience in the concerned municipal councils. Selection Process
Applications will be examined by the selection committee chaired by the Deputy Commissioner.
Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of daily-wage sanitation work experience in the concerned Nagarasabhe.
One eligible family member of a deceased Pourakarmika may be considered under the Neerapavati quota.
Recognized manual scavengers and their eligible family members may also be considered.
Candidates must satisfy the document verification and medical fitness requirements.
SC, ST and OBC reservation provisions do not apply to this Neerapavati recruitment.

Obtain the prescribed application form from the concerned Ramanagara, Channapatna or Kanakapura Nagarasabhe office.
Enter the required personal information, including the applicant’s name, guardian’s name, gender, address, date of birth and Aadhaar number.
Attach supporting experience records, such as a bank passbook, ESI or PF records and an attendance certificate issued by the Pourayukta.
Attach a medical fitness certificate issued by a government doctor.
Include a self-declaration confirming the ability to speak Kannada.
Attach documents supporting eligibility under the deceased Pourakarmika family or manual-scavenger category, if applicable.
Submit the completed application and documents to the respective Nagarasabhe office.
Ensure that the application reaches the office by 5:00 PM on 5 September 2026.
