BEML Apprentice Notification Released, Apply Online to 1,346 Graduate, Diploma and ITI Training Slots

BEML Limited, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has opened applications for 1,346 apprenticeship training slots across its Bangalore, Mysore, KGF and Palakkad manufacturing complexes. The BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. L&D/01/2026 covers Graduate Technical, General Graduate, Diploma and ITI trade apprentices.

The BEML Apprentice 2026 online application process began on August 18, 2026 and will remain open until September 8, 2026 at 11:00 PM. Candidates must complete registration on the applicable government apprenticeship portal before submitting their application through the BEML recruitment website.

Selection will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination followed by document verification. There is no written examination, interview or application fee. The KGF Complex has the highest number of training slots with 608, followed by Bangalore with 400, Mysore with 227 and Palakkad with 111.

The 1,346 apprenticeship slots are distributed among four BEML complexes. KGF accounts for nearly half of the total training positions.

BEML Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed at least 17 years of age at the time of application. No upper age limit has been specified in the details provided.

Applicants should have passed their final qualifying examination within the three years preceding the closing date of application and must possess the required full-time regular qualification for the apprenticeship category selected.

Graduate Technical Apprentice

Candidates should possess a full-time four-year BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline.

Eligible qualifications include B.Sc, B.Com, BCA and BBA, as applicable to the notified apprenticeship requirements.

The monthly stipend is ₹12,300.

Diploma Apprentice

Applicants should possess a full-time three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.

Disciplines include Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer Science and Automobile Engineering, among others specified by BEML.

The monthly stipend is ₹10,900.

ITI Apprentice – Two-Year Trade

Candidates should have completed a full-time two-year ITI course in the relevant trade.

Trades include Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, COPA, Mechanic, Tool & Die Maker and other notified trades.

The monthly stipend is ₹10,560.

ITI Apprentice – One-Year Trade

Candidates possessing the prescribed full-time one-year ITI qualification in relevant trades can also apply.

The monthly stipend is ₹9,600.

BEML Apprentice Stipend 2026

The stipend payable will depend on the apprenticeship category and prescribed qualification.

Selection Process

BEML will not conduct a written examination or interview for the apprenticeship engagement.

A category-wise merit list will be prepared separately for each trade and location on the basis of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination.

Candidates may be shortlisted for document verification in a 1:5 ratio. Communication regarding document verification will be sent to the registered email address.

After verification, a provisional merit list will be prepared. Offers of apprenticeship engagement will then be issued based on eligibility and availability of training slots.

A reserve waiting panel may also be maintained.

Final engagement is subject to completion and acceptance of the tripartite apprenticeship contract through the NATS or NAPS portal, along with submission of the required medical fitness and police verification certificates.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending document verification.

Application Fee

There is no application fee for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026.

Candidates are also not required to appear for any written examination or interview.

How to Apply for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026

1. ITI candidates must first register and complete their profile on the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Degree and Diploma engineering candidates must complete registration on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in.
3. Obtain and retain the NAPS or NATS registration/enrolment number.
4. Visit the official BEML recruitment portal and open the Apprentices section.
5. Complete BEML registration/login and enter the required personal, educational, apprenticeship and bank details.
6. Provide a DBT-enabled bank account as required.
7. Upload the prescribed photograph, signature and supporting documents.
8. Select the appropriate apprenticeship trade and training location.
9. Submit the application by September 8, 2026 at 11:00 PM.
10. Monitor the registered email address for document verification and further selection communication.

Only one application per trade per location is permitted. Candidates submitting multiple applications contrary to the recruitment conditions may be rejected.
