Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Ghaziabad, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has invited online applications for 38 Diploma Apprentice positions under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The one-year apprenticeship programme covers Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics and Civil Engineering disciplines.

Online applications for BEL Ghaziabad Diploma Apprentice Recruitment 2026–27 started on September 7, 2026, and will close on September 25. Candidates must register through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and apply against the advertised Bharat Electronics Limited-Ghaziabad apprenticeship opportunity.

Diploma holders who completed their qualification on or after July 1, 2023, can apply subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions. Selected apprentices will receive ₹12,500 per month during the one-year training period, while the written test is tentatively planned for the fourth week of October 2026.

Electronics has the highest number of apprenticeship seats with 12 vacancies, followed by Computer Science with 11 and Mechanical Engineering with 10.

For Computer Science vacancies, the relevant disciplines include Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Computer Technology and Computer Engineering.

Electronics-related disciplines include Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and other specified equivalent disciplines.

The number of apprenticeship seats is indicative and may be changed by BEL management.

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must possess a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from an institution recognized by AICTE or another Government of India-approved institution.

Only candidates who completed their Diploma on or after July 1, 2023, are eligible under the prescribed passing-year condition.

Applicants should ensure that the engineering branch shown on their diploma corresponds to one of the disciplines accepted by BEL for the apprenticeship position.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 21 years as on August 1, 2026.

Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD candidates will be applicable according to Government guidelines.

BEL Diploma Apprentice Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,500 throughout the apprenticeship period.

The engagement is apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended, and applicable BEL policies.

Completion of the apprenticeship does not create an obligation on BEL to offer regular employment. Apprentices cannot claim permanent appointment solely on the basis of completing the training period.

Who Is Not Eligible?

Candidates will not be eligible if they have already completed apprenticeship training with another organization.

Those currently undergoing or pursuing apprenticeship training elsewhere are also ineligible. Candidates whose previous apprenticeship was terminated midway are similarly not eligible under the stated conditions.

Selection Process

BEL Ghaziabad will conduct a written test for the Diploma Apprentice recruitment.

The final merit list will be prepared based on marks/percentage obtained in the written examination.
